Most, if not all, people go through a period within their life they feel they aren’t measuring up to their full potential. I recall having periods within my life of thinking “if only someone gave me a shot they’d see me and all this potential”. I’ve bet we’ve all watched something on tv that has made us think, “Wow that’s crazy I’m way funnier or talented in that area” so on and so on but it’s not up to someone to give you that shot. You must see the opening travel down the court and making the shot on your own. Give yourself a chance.

 

Take Action

You can truly do and become anything you desire you just need to take a step and actions to bring that to fruition. Just get started.

For instance, say your dream is to become an actor. Why not network with others within your proximity and make your own videos to get your foot in the door? There are others in your environment that have dreams and aspirations like yourself. To be editors, screenplay writers, the list goes on. Being that connecting with others around you is an essential part of life, build a team and help each other accomplish your goals. I know, being part of the anti-social community, that it’s not always enjoyable, but I will say it’s a necessity.

Yes, I know it is hard to see a path. You may not even know the direction headed in, at this point, but I’ll tell you from personal experience nothing happens if you just sit still and wait on others. Pick one thing, anything, and use that as your first step. For example, if you’re into fashion, ask yourself what part interests you and follow it. Do you like how people express themselves in clothing? Well, pick up a camera and snap your own photos and create a blog or social media account dedicated to that. Or you can style people.

Even if you don’t initially have the support, if you build it, they will come.

People always come for the final product. Even now, at the time of writing this post, I have no clue where this blog will end up but I took action and followed my interest and now you’re reading this :). By getting it out of our heads and into the physical plane, we are closer to seeing that dream become a reality.
